Internet Marketing Tools - Ping Your Blogs For Search Engine Attention

You have built your blog and you are making posts to it every day. Excellent! You are using one of the really great internet marketing tools to get traffic and build your list-blogging and creating new, unique content. However to really make the most of it you have to be sure the search engines find you. How do you do that? Of course you will be using keywords and you will also be "Pinging" your blog.

What the heck does it mean to ping your blog?

Without getting super technical about it (because that is just not necessary), pinging is a way to notify the search engines that you have posted new content to your blog. You may remember that one of the reasons search engines like Google love blogs is because they have lots of unique content and they are updated regularly.

Well, if the search engine is a bull and you are the matador, then pinging is like waving the big red cape to get the bull's attention!

There are a couple ways to ping your blog...but the easiest is to use a free service that pings a lot of ping sites all at once. One of the services that we recommend is Pingoat.

It is very easy process, just go to Pingoat and fill in the name and URL of your blog. If you are using XML feeds you can fill this box in, but if you aren't...or if you don't know what that means...then leave that box empty.

Now you can see the list of places that will be pinged...I suggest you simply click "General" and it will automatically check all the boxes in that category. You can also check each site manually if you prefer, but why take that time?

Unless your blog is in a language other than English, leave the next section blank. Don't check the Special Services area either at this point.

Then all you have to do is click the Go Pingoat button and Pingoat will notify all those services that you have added new content. You will then see a notification that the sites have been pinged.

Another site that works very much the same way is Ping-O-Matic. Choose one site or the other, but don't do both. You don't want to ping more than once each time you add content because that can be considered spamming.

It really is that simple to get the attention of the search engines. By using these awesome, free, internet marketing tools you are waving a big red cape and letting the big bull know you have new content. That leads to more traffic and a bigger list.

Commenting on Blogs Can Get You Leads

So now that you have visited a blog, you either did one or two things. Read one of the posts or you immediately bounced out of the site. If you did not do the latter, I hope you took full advantage of the blog real estate and left a comment along with a link to your blog.

So as to not have insulted your intelligence , you would be surprised how many people do not take advantage of this simple link sharing technique. You see, I look at other people 's blog as a way to gain knowledge and education (I recommend that everyone does this), but most importantly, I make sure to leave my mark by leaving a well thought out comment along with a backlink to my blog. This in return gives me what I need most...Traffic to my website.

Though this may not be the biggest industry secret, it still not being used by many online marketers. For reasons unknown. I want to change that.

Here are some tips on how to effectively do this:

1) Find Blogs with a high page ranking. There are more and more blogs starting every day. Which one do you choose from? For starters, find a blog with a high page rank. I have an Alexa tool bar, so I am automatically able to see the page rank of a particular blog. A blog that has a ranking of 250 thousand or less is good start. Google tool bar works just as well, if not better. Truly read the post and leave a well thought out comment. Your comments will be seen by other people. Result...your URL link clicked and BAM a visitor to your website.

2.) Comment on many blogs. Now don't be shy. Be a fan of as many blogs as you like, but try to narrow it down to a manageable few. Keep track of all of your blogs and add your MLM wisdom. In essence you are riding the coat tails of a higher viewed blog.Objective...exposure and backlinks.

3) Have a good signature line. In order for this to work properly, you must have a perfect signature line. OK, it doesn't have to be perfect. Just make it clear enough so that people know your full name along with the right link to your blog. Fill in the right boxes and provide value in your comments.

Ladies and Gentleman, this is something that does not require much of your time. You will get the benefit of learning something new from someones post and benefit from a back link to your blog which may turn into a subscriber, a customer or a future partner.

Good luck to you!

Dedicated to your success.

However, a closer look will show that, like any other hardworking pro, high earning bloggers do not just find their blogs falling into a great big pile of cash. Instead these bloggers work hard at getting their work recognized, applying all the tools to get them noticed, and selling their blog to both the public as well to the business sector.

Tools of the trade

While being a good writer is always up there on the list of requirements, a high earning blogger will also know a thing or two about HTML code, keyword placement, page rank, the importance of comments, RSS feeds, track backs, plus a whole bunch of other Web 2.0 terms that have cropped up this past decade. Having a bit of "web savvy", as it is called, is mandatory if you want to get your blog noticed and make it saleable. It is also important to be ok with the idea of placing ads along the side of your blog since advertising, most specifically, pay per click (PPC) ads, are the most popular revenue source from blogs.

There are writers who do blog directly for a specific product or service, writing what amounts to copy in blog form. There are also writers who found how to make money from blogs by finding a good niche that becomes an ideal situation for targeted advertisers. New Internet Darling - Twitter

In everyday life, with children, long hours and piles of laundry, it may be difficult to find time to nurture friendships.

This is the basis for a new service that makes it possible to send small messages to friends. This will share the everyday experiences of those who are close to - without being actually close. The service called twitter.

The philosophy behind Twitter is that friendships based on mutual sharing of experiences and thoughts in the present and that relationship does not depend on how much that is shared. It is small talk that means something to maintain friendships.

Twitter is an open channel for anyone who cares to read what you have to say, and it serves as a wonderful combination of SMS, messenger, and MySpace.

Twitter is personally communicated mass sharing of experiences, thoughts and feelings at the moment they arise. Messages can be send via a limited of 140 characters, so they can be passed as an sms.

The service is not intended to send lengthy descriptions but to tell what they are doing right now. You can send your friends a little quick message as "Now I am drinking a beer in Paris" or "I am taking a naked shower in a fountain."

Twitter can be used from both mobile phones and computers, and it is possible to send to all persons associated with one's profile at the same time.

"Many long to be in contact with each other all the time and if the service is working properly, there is no doubt that many will take it to heart."

"The constant exchange of feelings and experiences gives a feeling that users are alive."

Basically the service is free and you can sign and free update via computer. If you wish to update via his mobile phone, you are nevertheless charged SMS rates. It is free to receive messages on all platforms.

3 Top Tips on How to Make Money From Your Blog

Over the past few years Blogging has seen a tremendous increase in popularity with more people blogging now than ever before. Now can I be honest with you? A fair amount of people (including myself) are making a fair living from blogging alone. So, I thought it necessary to really break down what you need to do to make some $$$ from this ever so lucrative so called hobby.

#1 Google Advertising

Although this is one of the most popular ways to make money from your blog it is also one of the very easiest to set up. You can put an ad, powered by Google, on your blog and every time someone clicks on that ad you make an amount of money. Depending on your niche market, you can earn from roughly $.25 to about $14-15 dollars every time someone clicks on the advertisement. Theses ads can go anywhere on your blog, but tends to go on either the very top of your blog or far left hand side. If you choose this method you need to set up a Google AdWords account (free) and go through the easy to follow tutorials that help you set it up.

#2 Affiliate Promotions

This is a fairly popular option as there has recently been a large increase in affiliate type promotional activity on blogs. Basically what you do is find a niche related product in your field, say an eBook or video and become an affiliate of that product. Then you put that product on your blog and any direct sales that you make through your site you get paid a commission. The best site to find quality affiliate products is clickbank.com but alternatively you can just Google your niche and try to find an affiliate product related to it. This is a really easy way to make money from your blog that is overlooked by most.

#3 Capture Page

This is the best way to make money from your blog long term. Although the other two will benefit you short term, this option will keep a sustainable amount of income in the long run. What you do is set up and put a "capture page" or "squeeze page" (Google these terms if you're unsure of their meaning) on a important place on your blog that most readers see. You could offer a free report in your niche area as an incentive to join up. Then you collect the names and emails of any readers interested and build a list. This way you could build up a reputable relationship with each one and sell them something related to your niche at a later date.

From Practice I have found that this option is by far the best way to earn money from your blog. Long term profit is always the greatest revenue option for any business and your internet business should be no different.

These methods are quite simple to adopt but I have found that many people still have a fair amount of trouble with creating their blog, create their account, finding an effective title, choosing an attractive template, posting blogs and many more essential parts of blogging.

Blog Profits - How to Turn Your Blog Into a Home Business Money-Maker

Interested In Making Money On The Internet? Find Full Or Part Time, Easy Proven And Successful Methods, At http://www.keys2prosperity.net/

Hundreds of thousands of new blogs are created every day, and many people who blog want to turn their blog into a profitable home business. Unfortunately many of those blogs are doomed because of a lack of planning.

You can turn YOUR new blog into a money-maker.

Just follow these five steps. Notice that you need to complete four of these steps before you start blogging, so follow the steps in the order in which they're given.

Here are the five steps to blog profits:

1. Decide what you'll sell from your blog

To generate profits, your blog must make sales. Nothing happens until you sell something, so choose a profit center first.

You can choose: to sell advertising from your blog; to sell a product or many products; or to sell services - your own services, or those of others.

Selling advertising is a common and successful method of generating profits. To sell advertising however, you need content - the more content on your blog, the better. So if you choose advertising sales as a profit center, be aware that although your profits may be slow in coming, they'll constantly increase as long as you keep adding content.

When you sell products from your blog, your profits will flow much more quickly. However, you do need to focus on sales, as well as on content.

If you choose selling services, make a list of the services you and/ or others will be offering from the blog.

2. How will you get traffic? Do you have some startup capital?

A couple of years ago you could rely on RSS almost completely to get traffic to your new blog. Those days however are long gone.

Make a list of ways you'll get traffic. If you have some startup capital, write down which methods of paid advertising you'll use, and when.

3. Plan your content - this is vital

Your next step is to plan your blog's content. Don't omit this step. Most bloggers stop blogging because they run out of things to say.

So write down your topics, and make a list of five to ten blog post titles for each topic. Your topics will become categories on your blog.

4. Schedule content creation and marketing into your day

If you want to turn your blog into a profitable home business, you'll need to blog every day.

When will you blog? Early in the morning, or late at night? Schedule at least an hour a day to work with your blog. During this time, you'll create content, and will market the blog. Schedule the hour into your day, and keep to your schedule.

5. Review your progress

Blogs grow organically. If your blog sells advertising, you'll need to add more content than you will if you're selling products or services from your blog.

Use a statistics package on your blog (Google provides free Google Analytics), and review your statistics once a week. Your traffic will grow as your blog marketing methods start to work for you.

Once you have traffic, it's time to ensure that your traffic gives you a return on investment, so watch your traffic carefully, and assess whether you're getting the profits you want from your home business.

Good luck with your blog: by following the five steps we outlined above, you'll be able to turn your blog into a home business money-maker.
